FIH Women's Pro League: India succumb to Argentina - HIGHLIGHTS

On the European leg of the FIH Pro League 2024-25, it has been a case of so near yet so far for the Indian teams. And this holds good for the Indian women's team as well.
Going into this fixture against Argentina, the Indian women had no points to show for their efforts. A 2-3 loss in their opening fixture was followed by a 1-2 set back, both coming against Australia.
And on Tuesday night, India went down 1-4 to Argentina.
AS IT HAPPENED...
India had the momentum going into the half-time at 1-1.
They came out all guns blazing in Q3 and created multiple chances, but their inability to take them will came back to haunt them.
Argentina went ahead in Q3 and then switched gears in Q4.
In Q4, India, under the pump, began erring in defense and conceded two penalty strokes and Argentina duly accepted these gifts.
In all, Argentina had 5 PCs while India had 3.
In the end, India slump to their 3rd straight loss on this European leg of the FIH Pro League.
They go again tomorrow, once more against Argentina.
