Indian athletes in action on the final day of the 2025 Asian Athletics Championships.
The renowned Indian athletes continued their positive momentum to finish the continental showdown in South Korea on a high at the final day of the Asian Athletics Championships in Gumi on Saturday.
The long-distance runner, Parul Chaudhary, who rewrote her own national record in women's steeplechase on Friday, once again clinched a silver medal in the women's 5000m final.
The biggest showdown of the day was in men's javelin, where India's Sachin Yadav was aiming for the World Championships quota. Meanwhile, the finals of the 200m and the 800m events across both genders also took place on the final day.

India bettered its medal tally from the last edition in terms of the number of gold medals, 8, to finish the tournament in second position behind the powerhouse China.

This was India's first silver medal in 4*100m women's event after 25 years.

Krishan Kumar (1:48.72s) and Anu Kumar (1:58.04s) finished in 7th and 8th positions, respectively.
